How to translate - quick guide

What you translate

Translate only the English text into Arabic.

What you leave alone

• Any German word or sentence. Examples: der, die, das, Akkusativ, Dativ, Waschbecken. German is the subject of the lesson - it stays.
• Character names: Simone, Stefan, Herr Müller, Frau Schmidt. Keep them in Latin script.
• Anything inside double braces: {{tool:writing-tool}}, {{vocab}}. These are code.
• Anything inside HTML tags: <div>, <p>, <b>. Keep the tags.
• URLs and file names.

How repetition works

Many lesson titles and phrases repeat across the course - "Reading Out Loud" alone appears 50 times. You translate each phrase only once. The tool fills in every other place where the same English phrase appears.

When that happens, a small message says "Saved. Same phrase auto-applied to N more places."
